Over the years we have managed to keep the forum spam free as it is very annoying to see posts advertising dodgy Viagra etc every page. We have done this by having an approval system where applications have to be manually activated. Unfortunately, due to the high profile of our site, we are receiving 100s of applications each day. 99% are from spammers and it is proving impossible to sort out the genuine so I am rejecting all applications in the hope that genuine will contact me direct.

From now on could anyone wishing to join the forum please e mail me with your user name and password.

I will manually activate you and sent a confirmation mail. Once logged on, you may alter your password if desired.

Sorry if it seems long winded but only way to dodge the spammers
