Stevieb, don’t forget you can register for Cash Accounting so that you are not put at a cash flow disadvantage and also consider using the Flat Rate scheme which substantially reduces the level of paperwork required on your part and can result in monetary savings depending on your business specifics.

Yeah, I love the Flat Rate Scheme! Its the best thing since sliced bread!

And… TR… I hate IR35… its totally unfair! Why pick on IT Contractors only when they are other self employed people doing the same thing… why not include them as well?

And I was in such a good mood…

OK… TR… big question is… can I claim LMP as an expense? If so, how can I do it? grin

Well I reckon the only way is to get Stevieb to write some code during his next contract that allows the costs of alternative therapy!!

If Stevieb’s code is anything like his knob, it will break on its first execution!

This is actually a true story but it fits in with this thread…

A few years we were interviewing for a new person to join the team based in Bournemouth and after all the technical stuff we asked the guy why he wanted to move to the South Coast…..He replied that both he and his girlfriend were really into watersports…..

There was a silence and me and other chap doing the interview are desperatly trying not to laugh…...the interviewee carried on in blissful ignorence - he got the job as well and we did have a laugh about it afterwards…..but try being professional with that image….

On that subject - the new Armored Saint is an absolute belter - it may have 9 years since the last one but it sounds like 9 months - and hopefully Jon Bush has moved on from Anthrax and can now concentrate on his real band - crank it up….

Just started watching series 7 of Shameless. I think this has run its course to be honest, still funny in places but a little “old hat” now!
I’ll still end up watching the lot as i’ve watched the previous 6 series & you stick with it don’t you! cheese

I know what you mean but I still find it funny and its better than anything else… and I just love Frank!

I have just finished the 4th series of Skins… I can’t remember my A-Level days like this!

Sorry but I can’t resist. You’ve seen four skins?  LOL

I still love Shameless although one or two in the current run have been a bit weak, but Karen’s meltdown was great (and painful) to watch, and I loved the home movie this week. Great stuff.
