Blimey Steve I didn’t have you down as a heavy metal man. Great stuff, just need to grow my hair back to 1972 levels.

10000 mp3s! WOW! That is impressive! I hope you back up regularly!!!!

On another subject… I watched “The Proposition” (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0421238/) this week…. Nick Cave at hsi darkest!

A movie buff mate of mine has talked me into watching Sátántangó (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111341/). Seven hours long and the first 30 mins is about cows apparently….

The Propostion is excellent - another great Ray Winstone performance - its almost a grunge Western….very good indeed - and the other one - 7 hours in a Hungarian Village…I know I should but life’s just that little bit too short…..now a 7 hour film about LMP - that would go down a lot better….

As I wasn’t getting any action this afternoon as previously mentioned - decided to watch some instead - no - not that sort….but X-Men Origins : Wolverine.
After the lacklustre and frankly silly X-Men 3 this was much more like it - great action and a decent cast - Jackman doesn’t do much but glower(which he does very well) - but it presses all the right buttons….4/5

and more Saturday night action with Terminator Salvation - I was really hoping this was going to be good after the lousy Terminator III but although it had some interesting ideas it was really two hours of fighting and explosions - one for the MTV/Video Games bunch I’m afraid. - 3/5

remember well the days of being on call - a dead weekend - but on the Zulu front - couldn’t this equally apply to LMP?

Pte. Thomas Cole: Why is it us? Why us?
Colour Sergeant Bourne: Because we’re here, lad. Nobody else. Just us.

For some bizarre reason the “granny gobbled by drunken elk” story made me think of the Darwin Awards.

Now, in fairness, the unfortunate lady is not really a candidate for these awards.

They are given for the most inventively stupid ways of people attempting or succeeding in removing themselves from the gene pool thus allowing the rest of us half a chance of furthering the progress of human evolution.

And it allows me to post this eye watering one….

I saw this on the Gnus, if it had happened here she would have been treated on the National Elk Service.

Sorry suffering from LMP withdrawal symptoms.

Sitting here this morning with my right knee blown up like a football after I tripped on a load of uneven block paving as I got back to the car in Milton Keynes last night after yesterdays party I think my LMP party days could be done for the rest of the year as I suspect ligament or cartlidge damage but won’t know till I’ve been the doctors.

That’s not good - sue the arse off the council (or whoever owns it) - compensation for pain and no LMP…...wonder what a lawyer would make of that?
The saving you make by not going to a party divided by the stress and withdrawal symptoms you experience by not being able to attend….reckon you would come out ahead….

Wonder if it will stand up in court? - as opposed to to it standing up at LMP…..

First thing I did when I got home was take pictures of the damage to the left hand and the right knee, didn’t have the camera with me in the car otherwise I would have taken pics of the block paving stones last night.
