Saw Antichrist with Willem Dafoe. Probably one of the most depressing films I have ever seen… I had to fast forward through most of it.

District 9 is excellent - and setting it in South Africs with all the aparthied references was realy clever - loved the guy who played the central character - he was really obnoxious at first but you ended up having a fair amount of sympathy for him - mind - that accent could strip paint at a hundred yards….

Did you know the guy who plays Wikus Van De Merwe plays Murdock in the New A-Team movie too ( without the South African Accent ) grin

Now this is good…

A new book reveals that a member of MI6, the British spy agency, discovered during WWI that semen makes excellent invisible ink, and often deployed it in the field. The name of the man who discovered this? Mansfield Cumming.

LOL That just can’t be true. I’ve a mental image of a spy furtively bashing one out while a carrier pigeon waits patiently for the message.

But Dammit Sir - he was doing it for King and Country - and to defeat the filthy Hun (aplogies to any of our German readers) - I can’t think of any better reason to bang one out - unless it involves the Brazilians…..roll on Friday part 2….

I suspect if it were Brazilians I’d surrender and allow myself to be tortured.

As I as not very well and “working from home” yesterday…. I saw “The Taking of Pelham 123” and “9” with my son…. Both top movies! What do film critics know? John Tavolta and Denzil Washington gave very good performances IMHO…
