Would love to have seen that as Assault on Precinct 13 is Rio Bravo updated - and he was always a big Howard Hawks fan anyway - shame he hasn’t been able to make that many movies of late - last one I really enjoyed was Ghosts of Mars…..and agree…..New York is great but LA sucked the fat one…..
I see that the Jessica Alba shower scene was filmed with her fully covered up and then edited to produce the steamy shots you see. They have released the shots showing how it was done!!!
Kinect is the new gadget for xbox 360 where you become the controller, so if you play a driving game you put your hands up as if you have a steering wheel and turn your hands to steer the car.
Basically wii for xbox but better graphics and no controllers.
They have a game called the michael jackson experience but i dread to think what that is

Loved the kinect, it takes images of you as you play which as some of the games involve you jumping as you see them after you look like your moshing on your own.

Yeah I loved the music but I was like 9 then! Not as “experienced” (ahem) as you dude!

If you are into blu rays check out this site for titles which are multi regional.

It can work out cheaper to import blu rays as opposed to getting them from the uk,some titles you may be waiting for to be released may be out already stateside and able for you to buy.
Also if you like your movies uncut then stick with US blu rays.
Got a american PS3 which is locked to play US titles, some great deals on amazon.com, managed to pick up the Rocky collection on Blu Ray for £30, it sells over here for £60.
Picked up Firefly on Blu Ray for £20.
Only watched this season but after watching it am tempted to buy the box set.
Didnt know the blonde idiot one played young Del Boy in Rock n Chips, missed it when it was on but its only £6 on amazon so may pick it up.
Finally caught Dispicable me today, good film but wait for it to come to home video.
Also embarrasing moment with the ipod on my way back home from a great night, shuffle on then Abbas gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight comes on, packed tube train with me fiddling to go to the next track, on the bright side the theme from Shaft was on next.
Watched two movies today, Paranormal activity 2 and Easy a.
Paranormal activity 2 works well as a piece side by side with the original , the story is set before the original and ends just after.
Lots of suspense but I think the action taking place off camera which allows you to fill in the blanks yourself has been done too many times now.
Like in Reservoir dogs famous ear cutting scene that is suggested and heard but never seen.
Easy a is a comedy about a girl who lies for boys and others that she has slept around and the aftermath of it.
Lots of 80s movie references and funny moments to go with it.
Whilst out picked up two cds too, Hot tub time machine soundtrack ( great movie) and the best of The Beat, in a 80s mood these days.
