Dr Who - Bloody Hell - what a wonderfully dignified way to end as he gets to bid a sombre farewell to everyone - liked the bit with Rose when he said farewell before they had even met - Tennant really pulled out all the stops - it was almost Shakesprean at times…....and once the Ood started singing - that really got… me - best of luck to the new guy - he’s going to need it….

I’m afraid a beach is a bit too public for what i’d like to be doing with Jennifer, Lara, and Shamila…..  red face

I was thinking more of a Mr Scaramanga private villa and beach where I could plot world domination - if I wasn’t too knackered after all the fun and frolics….

PS - Typing this as a howling blizzard rages outside…...

I thought the latest two episodes of Dr Who were lame… too much orcehestral music in the background and too much Russell T Davies blah, blah, blah going right up his bum!!! But I loved the Dr Who Confidetials… brilliant to see how it was all made the real views from the actors and RTD…

I am looking forward to a new era with Stephen Moffat and Matt Smith… Stephen Moffat worte “Blink” which was probably the best episode so far… and a hot babe in it as well!

Oh yes! Stephen Moffat is the man! I do like RTD but he can get very luvvy and over dramatic… but his knowledge of Dr Who is amazing… and he bases alot of the stories and nuances on previous Drs, sets and even costumes. Shame he drowns it in over dialogue and too much bloody orchestral accompaniment!

Anyway, rant over! grin

Anyone see Nurse Jackie last night? So good… and she is sooo bad! wink

I miss The Sopranos as well!

Anyone seen Frost / Nixon? I was too young to remember all that… and I now have new found respect for Mr Frost! What a guy!

Its probably my fave movie from last year - Langella is just incrible as Tricky Dicky and Michael Sheen captures perfectly all the insecurties and foibles of Frost - at the end with that amazing long close-up you really do feel sympathy for the monster that was Nixon - a sobering meditiation on the abuse of power….
