hi,

i’ve never done any party and haven’t even gone to any parlour etc., ever., don’t know why but never thought of it. but i’m tempted to give it a go now. i have a question though.

I was on visit to Iraq for business purposes last january and got injured by an IED, flew back to military unit back here but lost my leg. i wear a posthesis.

it has dented my confidence and i feel funny and think would anyone else or the girls look at me funny if i came to the party with a robot leg on? should i not come or be ashamed? also i, ofcourse have showers every morning and would be clean and hygiene but wouldn’t be able to have shower at your premises, would that be a problem?

thanks.

while you await input from em or moss i figured i would chime in

your disability itself i dont think is a problem, we partygoers come in all shapes, sizes, colours etc so a prosthetic leg would not imo have any impact on your appearance at a party

however, the not being able to wash thing might be a problem

obviously where there is lube involved a partygoer would need a regular wash as hygiene is pretty important at these parties

plus i find that even though i may wash at home before attending, the tube journey to central london will always contrive to make one a little sweaty before any shenanigans have even begun

i am sure em or moss will chime in at some point to give you an actual answer rather than my speculation

I don’t think washing the unit, hands face etc will be a problem, I would actually be keen to ensure it is washed with running water and clean on every occassion, that wouldn’t be an issue, but a full shower will be a bit tricky. It could be covered and the body washed but it ain’t waterproof so has to be covered properly and it might be difficult to find something there.

thanks for your reply btw. cheers
