I was given a pack of condoms at GUM tests which contain some Ribbed ones! What is the policy on bringing & using your own condoms at LMP please?
If its ok, i would like to bring them to the parties to try them?
Whatever is policy i will obviously stick to though!
I brought durex featherweights with me once, and was going to ask if this was ok. Alas in the heat of the battle they fell out of my robe pocket and got lost.
Is there an LMP policy on this?
But martin, I would not get carried away with the ‘ribbed concept’ if I were you, I hear it’s just marketing, and the girl will not feel much (if any) difference.

Mate of mine used to turn them inside out… he said he it was a good sensation!

Hi Martin,
Am sure this something which would not be encouraged, as whilst yours came from a trusted and reliable source… who knows about others if everyone starting bringing their own, and we are ultimately talking here about both the girls and us guys health. Sorry to be such a killjoy
Colly, what do you mean a ‘trusted and reliable source”?
You don’t think that the ones that people are likely to buy, (i.e durex or trojan) are not probably thee most trusted condom makers of all?
What possible incentive can there be for a partygoer to bring his own condoms and not buy quality?
Even if it were a sort of ‘cheapskate incentive’ to save money, that would certainly not make sense in a place where condoms ‘feely’ available.
I think Colly’s point is that by only allowing the condoms provided ‘in-house’ there is no need to do any checking or quality control. It is not a case of questioning the quality of Durex or Trojan more a sensible safety precaution.

Yes, ok, but the things are in airtight packets, hence, quality control with ‘in-house’ LMP condoms, is no different from quality control with the ones that may people bring.
If anything the likes of trojan or durex (because they are more expensive) are likely to be better than ‘in-house’ LMP ones – as LMP does of course buy in bulk.
The logic of my point is this: the incentives are layout in such a way that if people brought there own, they would only have an incentive to bring better ones than those that are already freely available.
If you wanted a final control, then the rule could be that, you ask the girl, she looks to see it is a recognised brand and makes her choice (or the LMP policy choice) based on that information.
By the way, I am not, say I am dissatisfied with ‘in-house’, I am just tying to put forward a rational point.
I can of course see both points of view, which is why i asked the question, it would really be a management decision on condom policy. If your own preference type is allowed, then i would like to try them, & if not, i have not had any problems with the “house” ones so we carry on.

Everything you say Jack is well reasoned. However from the point of view of LMP management, and the girls, they use what they know and that just eliminates the whole discussion so is simpler all round. I am a great one for keeping these things simple as it avoids the complications you have already hinted at of girls having to check to see if they are happy with this brand or that.
Simple answer is No, we would rather guys do not bring their own.
Our primary concern is always the safety of the girls. Whilst we buy in bulk, we still buy quality named brands.Whilst people who want to bring their own will bring what they consider to be quality in the majority of cases, that is not the only consideration. Someone may bring extra thin types which have more tendency to break in party situations.I think having a girl stop in the middle of things to check if the condom is safe and approved is a little off putting. Therefore, the simple rule is, we provide the condoms.
Guys, don’t try the old excuse about needing to bring the extra large ones, ~I have heard feedback from the girls and that wont fly!! Also, as Raj will confirm, we do keep stocks of extra small that are dished out discretely
Thanks Moss! It was my expected answer, & the extra thin ones were, i thought, the main concern.
It made a good thread, & any subject that increases forum usage is welcome!
