I thought I would get some training in too, last night!
Decided to use a new App I downloaded for my iPhone called “Sportstracker” looks cool!
It is supposed to show you your route for the cycle course you have chosen.
I set off on my 15 mile course across woodland following the gps route and the little flashing icon that was showing my progress…cool! What they don’t tell you in the instructions, is what happens when out in the middle of scary wood, when you lose the gps signal and the map disappears? After a few wrong turns down a few tracks…all trees look alike after a few miles…wahey the little fecker springs back into life but I am now…18 miles into the ride and way off course! After another 1/2hr pedaling back along the course the screen goes blank! Another little ommision from the info was this App eats batteries like Raj eats pussy! 2hrs and my phone is dead! I managed to get back home after 4 1/2hrs and approx 38 miles of riding!
Moral of this story is…sell bike on eBay and follow Raj’s fitness regime in the future!
