internet explorer 9 is my browser site not working right for a start if you go onto party days you cant get to change day shown changed browser to firefox and all is ok hope you can sort cheers in advance sparkie
Thanks, can you check it again for me please… We are Mac based here so while we can check the rendering of elements via browser checking software for the likes of IE we can not always check the working.
Think it was an issue with stacking of elements, hopefully it is OK now.
Any other issues please let me know.
Disclaimer, I am aware that in older versions of IE (6, 7) there may be problems but as these are so old we decided to draw the line and not support them.
yes thats working ok now thanks other problems are in gallery if you click on girls photo to highlight same are fine others you cant have not tryed all but paige,monique and margeaux dont also on home page the phone numbers go through the the control panel boxes i think thats all thats wrong cheers sparkie
Good, the front page should be oK now, the front menu was set to % height its now fixed, so should be OK on smaller screens, which I guess your is.
The gallery I am not sure about, all should be the same, if one loads all should, its just repeated code, anybody else able to reproduce this error in IE9?
Note: You do need to click on the picture itself, the name box overlaying the pic is not clickable.
oh and while I know the rota for next week is not “per se” official sonce it did not come in the newsletter, so the whole “party dates” page can be considered as “in construction” until so, the date is wrong for the “week commencing…” : I don’t know if any of these dates are computed automatically of if it is full manual, if there is some automation, then there is probably a bug, if not, it was either forgotten or not done yet which is fine since we are only sunday afternoon…
The rota is accurate and is certainly not a page under construction, the date, week commencing changes at Midnight Sunday night/Monday morning and ia automated.
Lady M has already done the rota and the mailing list is queued to be sent as I write this.
There has to be some cross over due to the automation and in this case it is in the automated week commencing bit.. but the dates clearly say Monday the 9th etc. If it is confusing I will remove the automated date change if Lady M request it.
no its still the same and i am clicking photo also just noticed girls name is behind photos when you are on a single girls photos in the gallery all is ok if i use firefox but i find it slow against ie9 its a 16” laptop so not very small cheers sparkie
you can now get photos if you click just bellow photo its just like the photo is showing higher on page than it really is if that makes any sense cheers sparkie
I too was having the rota page problems…but since the alterations all is fine now.
I also noticed the problems on the gallery pics, and noticed that it was for the pics covered by the large name written across them. if any pics extended past the end you could enlarge those and scroll through the rest, but if a girls name covered all the pics you were stuffed!! LOL!! Since the tweaking this afternoon by you, i notice now if i scroll to the very bottom of the pics i can now enlarge them all (thanfully)
Ok thank you, thats clarified the girls individual pages problem, hopefully its fixed now, again down to how IE handles load order, even with absolutely positioned elements.
